Would you like to try your hand
At drawing sheep that never stand
In one place – for very long?
Perhaps you’d rather paint things growing
Trees, some flowers, the river flowing
And try to get reflections!

Maybe a cottage you could draw
With crooked chimneys, open door
And black cat in the garden.
You could blame a wobbly line
On to the ravages of time,
And no one any wiser!

It’s very good to share a car
Because we sometimes travel far
To draw and paint our picture.
Friday is the day we meet,
Every month it is a treat
To share our art together.
