NB: May 26th is a Bank Holiday and there is NO pub lunch arranged. Anyone walking that day needs to bring a pack lunch.
Please note: For your general information each walk is graded from 1 to 3; 1 being ‘easy’ and 3 more arduous. Additionally, everyone leading a walk is responsible for reconnoitring their set route in advance and confirming any other arrangements. Please note: Dogs are not allowed on walks.
All walks start at 10.00am unless otherwise stated and, in the interests of everyones safety, individual members should ensure they are fit to undertake their chosen walk and are suitably clothed and equipped. Please carry additional warm clothing to cope with any emergency – together with a flask/warm drink, an ‘energy’ bar and a survival bag (foil/plastic bag). Each walkleader should carry a First Aid kit.
Finally, always carry ‘readily available’ details of someone who could be contacted on your behalf should the need arise. |
