We play duplicate bridge, all year round, and the sessions begin at 1.00 prompt. This is a friendly group with everyone coming to enjoy themselves. We still have a few vacancies for experienced players and also those who have progressed beyond the beginners stage but wish to learn more. Partners are found for individuals attending the sessions. Tea/coffee and biscuits (£ 1.00) are available during a break about 2.20 p.m. and we usually finish before 4.00 p.m.

Rummikub can be played by two, three or four people. The game involves using numbered tiles of four different colours to make up sets of the same number (different colours) or runs of the same colour. These sets can then be manipulated to use as many tiles as possible.

The whist is contract whist which does not need a foursome and is simple. The essence of both games is to provide a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.  The dominoes we play is sometimes called Double Twelves. The dominoes are white with coloured dots to indicate the number eg 12 is grey, 10 is orange. There are 91 dominoes. The game is still based on multiples of five or three although more entertaining!
